Margaret has been involved in the Young Wives and Mum%s and Toddlers’ groups.

Andrew is a son of our founders Bob and Brenda Terrell. His parents, before starting a family, were both training for the mission field so when his parents had the vision to work with the poor and disabled people of Romania it came as no surprise, accept that they were both over retirement age. Andrew worked closely with them, helping to setup and organise the trips and transport of goods, also drove one of the lorries on all our many trips.
On the trips he was able to see for himself the great need of the people and the deprivation they suffered, not only in the villages but also in the towns.
Andrew is a retired social worker, having worked for over 35 years for an inner London borough, with children and young people. He comes from a medical and care orientated family, many of whom have trained in these fields.
In his retirement Andrew works as a Cleanroom supervisor for a local company making quality products for the medical industry.

Keith became a trustee in 2000 and has visited Romania on several occasions. He currently produces the newsletter.
Following retirement from BT, Keith worked as a school Laboratory Technician.
With his wife Heather, Keith attends St Margaret’s Church in Angmering, where he helps with the children’s work. He also speaks on behalf of Mission Aviation Fellowship at churches and groups in Sussex.
Keith enjoys badminton, walking, and tidying his garden. His two children can be relied on for medical advice, and he is the proud grandparent of three little ones.

Having been involved in the insurance market for most of her working life Margaret took early retirement in 1985 to care for her mother. At the time she was living in Surrey but because property was cheaper in Sussex in those days the move was made to Rustington in West Sussex where she has lived ever since and is a member of Littlehampton Baptist Church.
Margaret thought my visit to Romania in 1996 was a one off. How wrong she was!
Bob Terrell, the founder of the Charity, asked at church for a driver to go to Romania to take medical supplies in a van and Margaret responded. She has been every year since and on several occasions more than once a year.
By the year 2000 she knew that God wanted her to start a Sponsorship Scheme to help feed poor families living in the town and the surrounding villages of Oradea. This commenced as a food sponsorship as the families would pay their bills rather than feed the family. The food is purchased in Romania and given to the families so the money cannot be used for anything else.
Over a period of time it became necessary to extend the sponsorship to help the children living in the villages and needing to go into the town to school when they reach High School age of 14, there being no High Schools in the villages. Consequently the scheme now covers education also.
Margaret does not have a family but she is kept very busy doing God’s work with ORT and looking after her two dogs.
